Welcome to my blog of Segway Gliding in and around Wellington, New Zealand.

I have been gliding in and around the region since 2009, adhering to the both the road code and common sense(!).

Things have changed here since the Taupo District Police have, in January 2011, declared that Segway PTs are 'illegal' as they are not covered by the current legislation.

As a 'personal' glider is news has an impact on where I can go without fear of breaking a rule or piece of legislation.

I will continue to use my Segway PT just as I always have -- according to the mobility device rules as I have always done!
